The Saint Joseph Symphony presents “Viennese Soiree featuring Lynn Spurgat” on September 28, 2024 at the Missouri Theater
We will open the SJS season together with an evening of music from Vienna! Featuring prominent artist and Saint Joseph native, Lynn Spurgat. (Ms. Spurgat is a Central High grad and earned her Bachelor’s at William Jewell College.) Her late father, Dr. Robert Spurgat, and her mother, Susan are faithful supporters of the SJS. The evening will feature Arnold Schoenberg’s light-hearted & whimsical – 8 Cabaret Songs featuring our very own, Lynn Spurgat. Additional works by composers Von Suppe’, Mahler and of course, the waltz king, Johann Strauss. Don’t miss this festive and meaningful performance!
