Join us Downtown for November First Saturday… and Thanks for GIVING!
As the holiday season approaches, it’s important to remember our neighbors in need. That’s why several Downtown businesses are supporting their favorite local causes and asking you to join them in GIVING!

- Downtown Frames – Accepting supply donations for those in need. Ask business for details!
- Felix Street Gourmet – Supporting United Way! A portion of the day’s sales will go to United Way. We’ll also have a QR code available on the tables for customers to donate and provide information on United Way.
- Manic Snail – 11am-6pm
Clear our your closets and gather up the coats and jackets you no longer need, and bring them to Manic Snail, Wed. Nov 2nd through Saturday November 5th (November First Saturday!).Our store window will be temporarily empty (awaiting holiday cheer!) so it’s a the perfect time to FILL THE WINDOW with coats for our neighbors in need!
- Mokaska – Supporting Second Harvest Food Bank! See business for additional details on how you can contribute.
- Oracle’s Eye -11am
We will be collecting hygiene and clothing items for men and women. For every $20 worth of items you bring, you will be entered to win a tattoo or piercing gift certificate! YWCA provides comprehensive domestic violence and sexual assault services, including a 24-hour hotline and shelter for women and children, as well as licensed childcare, childcare resources, fitness/recreation, and women’s programs. It’s a cause that is so important to us, let’s make it epic! - Trinklett Photography – 11am-2pm
POSTPONED TO DECEMBER DATE (TBD) – In December, Trinklett Photography is hosting a Toy Drive for Ronald McDonald House. Bring 1 brand new, unopened toy, and get 1 family Christmas portrait taken during your visit! (Photos taken indoors, in front of neutral backdrop for ease of your wardrobe coordination.) FOLLOW TRINKLETT PHOTOGRAPHY ON FACEBOOK FOR UPDATES. - The Unique Unicorn 10am-6pm
Help stock the Friends of the Animal shelter with items they need! Unique Unicorn will be collecting donations November 3 – 5 during open shop hours. And for your donation, you will receive a free 2-inch plant! Let’s put the GIVING in Thanksgiving season.
