New Downtown Mural Unveiling

Main Street Saint Joseph is honored to announce our collaboration with Mural Mosaic’s Global Roots Project where the America Connects Home & Family Mural Mosaic will be unveiled on October 16^th, 2024.

The America Connects Home & Family Mosaic is a one-of-a-kind art collaboration bringing together hundreds of artists in America and throughout the world to paint a tile representing their connection to Home & Family. This visual legacy mural reflects the beauty and power of collaboration, and shows us that when we come together, we can create a remarkable lasting artistic reminder of our shared experiences.

Since 2003, Mural Mosaic has been creating art that celebrates unity and diversity through awe inspiring mosaic productions. Using the Mural Mosaic process invented by artist Lewis Lavoie, the mission of our work is to bring people together in a way that honors everyone’s unique perspectives and experiences. They have produced Mural Mosaics throughout the world, inspiring viewers to recognize the beauty of our differences and come together in united work of art.

Mural Mosaic’s Global Roots Project is delighted to become part of the St. Joseph community, to have the opportunity to inspire artists and aspiring artists of the future with this remarkable mural. We hope that it will serve as a source of inspiration for those who view it, and that it will encourage them to explore their creative potential.

Each collaborative Mural Mosaic production invites people from communities everywhere to connect and celebrate their unity through their diverse expressions of art.
