The St Joseph Symphony proudly partners with the Dept of Music at Missouri Wester State University for our season finale! After a competitive audition round, the aria and concerto winners will perform onstage with our orchestra. We are pleased to help revive this music education experience. Come and support these promising young musicians! The evening concludes with an exciting symphony composed by Tchaikovsky. The second symphony incorporates folk tunes from Ukraine (formerly part of the Russian Empire). Traditionally referred to as “The Little Russian,” a more accurate title for the composition is “The Ukrainian.” Doors and Box Office open at 6 pm, Concert at 7 pm with public social time to follow at Felix Street Gourmet (8th and Felix).
